Welcome to the Signal Processing Laboratories of EPFL
The Signal Processing Laboratories brings together researchers working at the interface between several signal modalities. Our expertise ranges from digital signal processing to integrated systems design and we contribute to both theoretical and practical research efforts. The main topics investigated within the SP labs include (but are not restricted to):
- biomedical signal/image processing
- computer vision
- data compression
- media delivery
- visual information representation and processing
- integrated system design
- multimodal signal processing
- signal analysis and classification

News
February 2008: the weekly meetings are moved to Wednesday noon.
January 2008: the Signal Processing Institute of EPFL disappears and the Signal Processing Laboratories join the Electrical Engineering Institute of the School of Engineering at EPFL.
